Traditional
This Cornish Pasty really is a winner – after placing in the top 2 for the last 3 years at the World Pasty Championships (winning Gold in 2017!) – something we are very proud of. This is our original pasty, and to be a ‘Cornish Pasty’ must comply with PGI rules. It consists of potatoes, swede and onion- and of course the steak!
We traditionally use trimmed skirtbeef. We also have “inhouse” butchers to ensure that only the best quality beef goes into our pasties. This cut of beef produces a rich gravy during the baking process, thus ensuring (alongside our secret pepper seasoning!) a genuine flavoursome Cornish Pasty. This pasty is available in Cocktail, Small, Medium, Large and Giant sizes.
Speciality - The Red Thai Chicken Pasty
Made from tender chicken breast, lemongrass, coconut cream, coriander, cardamom, red Thai paste and all gently combined with our ‘secret ingredients’.

Speciality - The Steak and Tribute Ale Pasty
Just like our traditional Cornish Pasty, but this time our steak is marinated in Cornish Tribute Ale, to bring out the full flavour.

A traditional steak pasty scattered with a helping of creamy blue stilton cheese.
Not for everyone but if you love stilton…you’ll love this!
Speciality - The Chicken and Chorizo Pasty
Chunks of tender chicken breast and spicy chorizo, accompanied by fresh onions, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, smoked bacon and hint of chilli.

We’ve developed this yummy combination of our own Cornish butcher’s sausage, full English back bacon, creamy scrambled eggs, tomato and baked beans, all made on the premises. The classic Full English recipe.

Vegetarian - Spinach & Ricotta Pasty
As much as we love a classic Cheese & Onion pasty, our Spinach & Ricotta is a different take on a cheese pasty with some added greens! With additional herbs and spices, this tasty and unique Vegetarian pasty is something you should try.
Vegetarian - The Cheese, Brocoli and Sweetcorn Pasty
One of our “all time” vegetarian favourites, this has really stood the test of time. The combination of a mature creamy cheddar sauce with the addition of broccoli and sweetcorn, seasoned to perfection. Tasty & delicious!
Vegan - The Spicy Mediterranean Pasty
Yes – you heard it right, the Spicy Mediterranean Vegetable Pasty is Vegan! And what is in it? Well, the clue is in the name… This pasty contains a mixture of vegetables, including tomato, mixed peppers and the staple potatoes and onions. Kidney beans are also added to the fill, which is then all seasoned with soy sauce and given a kick with a combination of herbs and spices such as ginger, oregano, garlic and chilli! These are all added in ‘just the right quantities’ to get the vegetarian and vegan taste buds tingling but at the same time enjoying the individual ingredients with a lasting warmth of flavour… The Unglazed Spicy Mediterranean Vegetable Pasty is produced as the first batch of the day, with a vegan pastry.

Portreath Bakery has built a dedicated Bakery for the production of Gluten Free products to ensure that there is no risk of cross contamination with ingredients or products containing Gluten.
The Gluten Free Bakery operates to stringent practices and has quarantine measures in place to eradicate any risk of Gluten cross contamination.
All Gluten Free products are individually wrapped within the Gluten Free Bakery to protect the product from cross contamination once it leaves the segregated Bakery facility.
